National Robotics League (NRL)

NRL is an annual educational robotics competition. It serves as a platform providing the opportunity to the teens to sharpen their skills in robotics-related technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, structural design, circuit design and coding.

NRL aims to act as a catalyst to drive the innovations in robotics and coding fields besides promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) education among the youth.

Moreover, each season of NRL will have a new theme and we have challenges that are tailored to the age of the participants. It is open to all ages of local robotics hobbyists as well as ASEAN robotics teams regardless of the robot-building materials or brand used.

There are three levels: primary school, secondary school and open groups, allowing participants of any skill level to showcase their talent.

The Objective of NRL:
To provide the opportunity to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.
To deepen youth’s passion and interest in robotics and S.T.E.A.M.
To improve participants’ teamwork and strategy in competing and inspire the spirit of fair play and friendship between participating teams.
